EVOH oxygen barrier Underfloor Heating Pipe Making Machine

 

PEXa EVOH pipe is suitable for underfloor heating system and radators.  It has 3 layers: PEXa / ADHESIVE / EVOH.  tHE Pexa EVOH pipe has a great flexibility and perfect homogenization of the cross-linking.  It's very resistant to corrosion and chemical agents. It has an excellent thermal memory. In addition to having a smooth surface, light weight and an anti-diffusion oxygen barrier.
 


PEXa/EVOH composite pipe is produced by two separate steps. first is singly layer PEXa pipe, produced by raw extruder; second is that outer EVOH oxygen barrier layer coating and adhesive layer, produced by co-extrusion die head with two extruders.

With little modification, this line can also produce two layer BLACK ANTI-UV pipes.

The PEXa outer coating, or last layer, is made of 3% carbon black, which gives it its characteristic black color and makes it resistant to untravoilet rays. Because this material absorbs ultraviolet rays, it does not allow the crystllization or degradation of the pipeline over time.

 2. Extruders
  • Special designed screw and barrel for EVOH material, and Glue material, having better plasticizing effort
  • Using ABB brand converter; Schneider electric elements, and also all China top brand driven motor and gear reducer
  • Extruder temperature is set and controlled by PLC with PID system, more precise and stable;
  • And other operation controls are all operated on the main PLC system, with alarm, sync control and protection system
 3. Two layer co-extrusion die head
  • Two layer co-extrusion die head for glue and EVOH layer coating
  • Special VACUUM type design, ensuring better compound of glue and EVOH layer
  • High quality mould steel 40Cr material, processed by imported CNC machinery;
 4. Haul-off machine
  • Two sets haul-off machines are equipped; first one is to straight the pipe, and keep stable of the pipe, to avoid any vibration of the pipe while entering the die head;
  • Several stage of pipe straighten and guide devices equipped
  • Haul-off speed is controlled by ABB controller, with SYNCRONIZED function with extruder’s rotation speed.
  • Haul-off speed ratio of two machines are set on PLC system, ensuring stable working of the system
 5. Winding Machine
  • Torque motor driven; Coiling speed can be easily adjusted with rotation knob
  • Coil sizes like ID and width can be adjusted; and size with laser maker for operatio
 6. PLC control system
  • Precise synchronous control of main machine and the auxiliary machine; Programmable and settable alarming and protection function at all levels.
  • Equipped with remote control system for machine fault analysis and problem solving;
