Anti-Clogging Rotary Drum Screener with High Output and Multi-Mesh Compatibility for Fertilizer Lines
The Rotary Drum Screener is the core grading equipment for the fertilizer manufacturing industry. Designed specifically for the rigorous demands of organic waste and compound fertilizer production, this machine efficiently separates finished granules from returned materials.
Unlike vibrating screens that struggle with high-humidity organic fertilizer, our drum screener utilizes a unique self-cleaning mechanism. The rolling action of the cylinder ensures that sticky materials (like compost or manure-based fertilizers) do not block the mesh, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation and high screening efficiency.
This machine is an essential part of the Fertilizer Granulation Production Line.
- Finished Product Screening: Separates qualified granules (usually 2-5mm) from oversized or undersized materials
- Return Material Recycling: The oversized particles are crushed and fed back into the granulator, ensuring zero waste in the production cycle
- Compost Pre-screening: Effective for removing large impurities from pulverized organic compost before granulation
- Anti-Clogging & Self-Cleaning: The rotating drum design allows material to tumble, automatically ejecting any particles stuck in the mesh. No need for rubber balls or constant manual cleaning
- High Output for Fertilizer Lines: Specifically designed for the fertilizer industry with capacities ranging from 1 ton per hour to 50 tons per hour, adapting to various scales of production lines
- Multi-Mesh Compatibility: Quick-change screen panels support various mesh sizes, allowing you to achieve precise finished particle sizes (usually 1mm-10mm for standard fertilizers)
- Eco-Friendly Design: Fully enclosed design prevents dust leakage, meeting modern environmental protection standards for fertilizer plants
- Durable Construction: Made from wear-resistant carbon steel or optional stainless steel 304/316L to resist corrosion from organic acids and moisture
The drum is mounted on the frame at a slight angle. The motor drives the reducer to rotate the drum via a coupling.
- Feeding: Material enters the feed end
- Tumbling & Grading: As the drum rotates, the material is lifted and tumbled. Small particles fall through the mesh holes, while large particles flow down due to gravity to the discharge end
- Discharging: Separated materials (finished products and returned materials) are discharged through their respective outlets
- Certification: ISO9001:2015, CE certified
- Packaging: Standard export wooden case packaging (fumigation-free) to protect the machine during shipping. Plastic film wrapping for moisture protection
- Delivery: 5-8 working days for standard models; 30 days for customized orders
A: Yes. The rotary drum design is specifically suited for high-humidity materials. The tumbling action prevents clogging, which is a common issue with vibrating screens.
A: Standard models use high-quality carbon steel. For acidic materials or high-corrosion environments, we recommend the Stainless Steel 304/316L option.
A: The screen is a modular combined mesh design, making it easy to replace specific sections rather than the whole drum, saving maintenance time and costs.
A: We are a direct manufacturer (Factory located in Henan, China). We provide competitive factory prices and technical support.
A: 1 Set.
