Drum granulator is a molding machinery that transforms materials into specific shapes. As a key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for both cold and hot granulating processes, as well as mass production of high, medium, and low concentration compound fertilizers.
The primary working method involves aggregate wet granulation. Through the addition of water or steam, fertilizers undergo chemical reactions within the rotating cylinder body. Under specific liquid conditions and the campaign of the rotating cylinder, particles reunite and generate extrusion pressure, forming the material into balls.
This machine delivers uniform granulation with a finished product rate exceeding 97%, making it ideal for organic or inorganic mixed fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and bio-organic fertilizers.
Due to the unique characteristics of large material fibers, traditional rotary drum granulators have low ball forming rates, while spiral teeth granulators cannot process materials with nitrogen content exceeding 8% (which causes wall sticking). Our granulator overcomes both limitations, capable of producing organic fertilizer as well as organic or inorganic mixed fertilizers. It represents a low-energy consumption, high-quality granulating solution.
The machine features a shell welded with thickened carbon steel plate and includes supporting equipment such as tug parts, tugs, transmission parts, wind heads, and wind tails.
