The belt and pulley are driven by the main motor, and the driving shaft is driven by the reducer. The pair of open-gears installed on the driving shaft and the big gear ring fixed on the machine body are combined and work in opposite direction. Materials are fed from the inlet and are made into particles with the drum rotating under certain conditions. The particles finally flow out through the outlet. With continuous materials feeding and continuous rotating, this process achieves mass production.

Rotary drum granulator is a fertilizer granulator machine that transforms materials into specific shapes. As one of the key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for large-scale production in both cold and hot fertilizer granulation lines, as well as high and low concentration compound fertilizer production lines.
The primary working method involves aggregate wet granulation, where fertilizers in the cylinder body undergo chemical reaction after sufficient wetting through water or steam. Under specific liquid conditions and cylinder rotation, particles reunite and generate extrusion pressure to form spherical shapes.
The cylinder features special rubber lining or acid-resistant stainless steel plate, enabling automatic scar and tumor removal while eliminating the need for traditional scraper devices. This machine offers high ball strength, excellent appearance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, low energy consumption, long service life, and easy operation and maintenance.
The rotary drum granulator can be ventilated with steam, gas, or supplemented with phosphoric acid, ammonia nitrogen, phosphorus ammonia solution slurry, or coarse whiting slurry. Within the cylinder, chemical reactions and heat generation occur during the fertilizer granulation process. Alternatively, cold granulation can be achieved by adding minimal moisture content. The required granulating materials undergo rotational movement within the cylinder, where they stick together under specific humidity and temperature conditions to form spherical particles, completing the system process.
