Before first use

Put 1/4 cup white rice into mortar, grind it into powder, check for stone debris. Repeat this process 1-3 times until the rice powder is free of stone debris.

How to use

One hand holds mortar, then put in hardest ingredient, do not overfill. another hand holds pestle and grinding, use circular crushing motion, after a while put in other ingredient mixing ingredient together. Grinding releases oils and flavors to bring out their natural goodness.

Cleaning

To clean stone mortar pestle, wash in hot water only without detergents, soaps or other cleaners, with plastic brush and allow to dry.
