Technical Note: Reverse osmosis (RO) is a type of membrane separation technology that relies on the reverse osmosis membrane to work

under pressure to separate the solvent and solute in solution.

"Infiltration" is a physical phenomenon. Reverse osmosis is the application of a greater pressure than natural permeation in water containing

salt and various fine impurities (ie, raw water), so that water is reversely osmotic from the higher concentration side. Most of the bacterial

impurities, organic matter, heavy metals, bacteria, and other harmful substances in the raw water are discharged through the sewage outlet.
