1. Air Driven Double Diaphragm Pump Introduction
Air Driven Double Diaphragm Pump are machines for conveying or pressurizing fluids. The pump is mainly used to transport water, oil, acid and alkali liquid, emulsion, suspending emulsion and liquid metal, and also can transport liquid, gas mixture and liquid containing suspended solids. Pumps can generally be divided into three types according to their working principles: volumetric pumps, power pumps and other types of pumps. According to the driving method, it can be divided into electric pump and water wheel pump, single-stage pump and multi-stage pump according to the structure, boiler feed pump and metering pump according to the use, and water pump, oil pump and mud pump according to the nature of liquid delivery. According to the shaft structure, it can be divided into linear pump and traditional pump. Pumps can only transport fluid as the medium of logistics, not solid.

Maintenance
- Please refer to the component schematic in the assembly drawings to look up the serial numbers and names of parts and grasp the information of parts and maintenance service pack.
- Some BSK parts are marked as "wearing parts", which can conduce to quick service and downtime reduction.
- Service kits are divided to service two separate diaphragm pump functions: 1. AIR SECTION, 2. FLUID SECTION. The FLUID SEC -TION is divided further to match typical part MATERIAL OPTIONS.
- Provide a clean work surface to protect sensitive internal moving parts from contamination from dirt and foreign matter during service disassembly and reassembly.
- Keep good records of service activity and include pump in preven -tive maintenance program.
- Before disassembling, empty captured material in the outlet man -ifold by turning the pump upside down to drain material from the pump.
