1.Internal Wiring of Home Appliances and Industrial Applications:
Silicone insulated wires are ideal for flexible applications, and is used for internal wiring of industrial heating appliances, hot-rolling mills, textile machines, industrial ovens, etc.
2.High Voltage Cable Assemblies:
Today, many cable assembly manufacturers prefer using silicone cables over regular cheap cable assemblies. Additionally, these wires have a dielectric strength of 550vpm, high insulation resistance, and excellent dielectric constant of 3-3.5. These characteristics make these wires good electrical insulators, and are ideal for high voltage cable assemblies as well.
RoHS Compliant Applications: As silicone rubber is a non-toxic substance, it is ideal for RoHS compliant applications. This is also the reason why silicone insulated wires are used in various medical applications.
