Brown aluminum oxide, also called Brown Fused Alumina is the most widely used medium density fused brown aluminum oxide (alumina) abrasive. It has good hardness and toughness and self-sharpness, is good sandblasting media.

Pre-processing sandblast:

Surface pretreatment generally has three methods, pickling, phosphating, and sand blasting.

Sandblasting is the most thorough, versatile, quickest and most efficient cleaning method and has been able to replace pickling and phosphating in many ways.

Sandblasting can be arbitrarily chosen between different roughnesses, but other processes can't achieve this. Manual sanding can produce a matte surface but the speed is too slow. Chemical solvent cleaning will clean the surface too smooth and not suitable for coating bonding. .
