Sintered Zirconium Silicate Beads ZrO2 65% Purity Bulk Density 4.0 G / Cm3
Zirconia milling media of sintered Zirconium silicate beads used in Sand mills
Zirconium silicate beads is a composite oxide composed of silicon oxide and zirconium oxide of the same molar ratio, and the molecular formula is ZrSiO4. The specific gravity is about 4.0 kg/dm3 and the Vickers hardness is about 1000 kgf/mm2. Zirconium silicate beads are commonly used due to their medium density and hardness, excellent wear resistance and cheaper than zirconia beads.
SPECIFICATION
According to the bead phasing process, there are two types:
Sintered method-Zirconium Silicate beads grinding & milling media
Made of zircon sand as a raw material are represented by a uniform microstructure, called Zirconium Silicate beads, widely used to mill paints, inks, dyes, magnetic coatings, minerals, and pesticides suspension.
Electrofusion-Ceramic Beads blasting and shot peening media
Melt-mixed with zirconia powder and silica powder.
The microstructure is separately present in the zirconia crystal and the vitreous silica, called ceramic beads, usually used for blasting media and shot peening.
