6. Why brown fused alumina F46#,F60#,F80 is suitable for blasting stainless steel parts?

First grade Brown fused alumina contains 95% Min Al2O3,9 mohs hardness,its high hardness and high

strength can remove the oxide scale, impurities easily and achieve one certain roughness.

The fine grit of brown fused alumina used in blasting process, the lower toughness will be achieved,meanwhile,it will improve the surface’s cleanliness.

BFA 46# coaser grit has higher hardness and larger particle size,while BFA 80# finer grit has more tiny

particle size and lower hardness,so BFAF46#,F60#,F80# is more popularg grit size for blasting stainless

steel parts,since blasting media requires BFA in higher hardness and angular shape.
