ACSR conductors of steel core aluminum stranded cables consist of several aluminum and galvanized steel conductors, twisted in concentric layers. The wires that make up the core are made of galvanized steel and the outer layer is made of aluminum. Galvanized iron core generally consists of 1, 7 or 19 wires. The diameters of steel wire and aluminum wire can be the same or different.
