Waterborne silicone modified hydroxyl acrylic dispersion WL-158
Low-VOC waterborne polyurethane paints formulated with this resin match or exceed the performance of solventborne polyurethane paints for metal applications. These two-component waterborne polyurethanes combine a waterborne polyacrylate with a water-dispersible polyisocyanate, delivering superior hardness, impact resistance, solvent resistance, and accelerated weathering performance comparable to standard solventborne polyurethane coatings.

Product Properties
- Self emulsifying process, emulsifier free
- Excellent shear stability, can be grinded with dispersions directly
- Good gloss, high film thickness without blister

Instructions
WL-158 can be diluted with deionized water to construction viscosity. The resin helps wet pigments, though wetting agents may reduce PH value. The coating system's PH can be adjusted using N,N-dimthylethanolamine, with viscosity increasing as PH rises.
When mixed with poly aliphatic isocyanate curing agent (e.g., BAYHYDUR 304 at NCO/OH=1.4/1.0), WL-158 produces high-gloss top coatings that dry quickly at room temperature or force-dry at 80°C (activation period ~3 hours).
Construction equipment can be cleaned with water, alkaline detergent, or water-soluble solvent.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, weak alkaline environment. Quality guarantee period is 6 months, though expired products may still be used after passing inspections.

2KPU self-drying top coatings and amino-baking top coatings.
