FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER (FRP): COMPOSITE FIBER RODS

Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is also known as GRP or CSM. Traditional GRP is composed of high strength E-glass fibers impregnated with a variety of specialized proprietary resins.

Description
The Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Rod or the Strength Member serves dual purpose. Its tensile strength provides the cable protection during installation and its rigidity prevents cable buckling during the life of the cable.
