Description of Railway Axle:

An axle is the component of a wheelset, a wheelset is the wheel–axle assembly of a railroad car. Axles are an integral component of most practical wheeled vehicles.

Railteco uses 8MN fast forging hydraulic unit for axle forging process. The equipment has features of fast forging and static pressure. It is equipped with an automatic control system to accurately and efficiently control the size of the forged blank. The full hydraulic characteristics of the unit enable the entire forging process of the axle to be completed during the static pressure process. This forging method can maximize the intrinsic quality of the axle and effectively weld the inherent defects of the axle.
