48 Fiber MTP MPO Trunk Cable Assembly manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is most commonly used in establishing backend trunk connections between fiber patch panels. Each 48 Fiber MPO trunk cable is able to consolidate the amount of multifiber cable assemblies into a single harness, eliminating unnecessary clutter and heft from congested networking racks. Alternative applications include establishing a direct 40G (40GBASE-SR4) link in between two QSFP+ transceivers.
The 48 Fiber MTP MPO trunks are bundles of 4 individual MTP Cables (each cable diameter 3.0mm with 12 fiber inside) and cable outer diameter for 48 fiber is 8.0mm. These MTP MPO trunk cables reduce the installation time by consolidating multiple sub-units into a single cable. This approach significantly reduces the overall diameter of the cable and provides much better space utilization of cable routing channels. MTP/MPO patch cord and trunk cable series are definitely an efficient and economical solution at data center.
