Monofilament Ultrasonic Welding Nylon Filter Bags For Medical Filtration

 

Nylon or Polyamide (Single 6 or Double 66) is a good material for liquid filtration thanks for its chemical resistance, physical properties as well as its cost.

 

Filter Mesh made of nylon can be woven with micron rating as fine as 5um and opening can be as big as 2000um or 2.0mm, which can be used at various kinds of industries, such as agricultural, marine industry, home appliance, food and medicdal industry, automotive...

 

Nylon Filter Mesh can be sewn into bags or custom shapes for liquid filtration or dust collection application, however, due to its checmial properties, nylon filter mesh can also be fabricated by ultrasonic welding or cutting or laser cutting.

 

1. Ultrasonic welding/slitting/cutting techniques.

By using ultrasonic techniques, nylon filter mesh can be slit into ribbons, cut into small pieces, punched into discs, welded into filter tubes (or conical shape)

 

2. Laser

Unlike ultrasonic, laser cannot weld nylon filter mesh together as strongly as ultrasonic technique, but laser technique can cut mesh piece different shapes which ultrasonic techniques cannot achieve mostly.
