Production Introduce:

Rubber Tyre Gantry Cranes (RTG) are special equipments to remove, load and unload international standard containers. Running and moving in the yard, it has the advantage of high production efficiency and fine maneuverability, also the small sensibility to unevenness of the ground. RTG has tractor trolley and standard trolley two models. RTG is powered by cable drum. At the same time, diesel generating set is equipped for conditions when the power is off or the crane moves to another yard.

Key Features of RTGs:

• Mobility: The large rubber tires allow the RTGs to move freely between container stacks and lanes. This mobility provides greater flexibility and efficiency in container handling operations.

• High lifting capacity: RTGs are capable of handling multiple 20-foot or 40-foot containers at a time, with some of the largest RTGs able to lift 6 container high stacks.

• Double-trolley hoist: Most RTGs have two hoists on one bridge, allowing them to lift two 20-foot containers or one 40-foot container at a time. This significantly improves productivity.

• Automated operation: Modern RTGs can be remotely operated from a control room using automated systems. The cranes can automatically stack and retrieve designated containers, track container locations, and optimize container moves.

• Eco-friendly: RTGs are electrically powered, either by diesel generators or grid power, so they produce zero direct emissions. Some even use renewable energy like solar power.

• Cost-effective: Although RTGs have higher upfront costs compared to rail-mounted gantry cranes, they require significantly less infrastructure and maintenance. This makes them a more cost-effective solution, especially for smaller container terminals.

Environmental Conditions:

1,The power source is three-phase alternating current,rated frequency is 50HZ,rated voltage is 380V.
2,The working environment temperature ranges from -20℃ to +45℃ and the relative humidity is no lower than 95%(with dew).
3,In-service, the wind speed should be no higher than 20m/s; out-of-service, the wind speed should be no higher than 44m/s.
4,The working duty is A6-A7.
5,The gradient of crane traveling floor should be less than 1% and part of that should be no more than 3%.
6,The crane which has the special requirement for working conditions, can be manufactured following the contracts.
