KPX series is a battery electric flat car, powered by battery. The battery provides power to the DC traction motor, and the DC motor drives the flat car to run. Compared with the AC motor, the DC motor has the advantages of not easy to burn, large starting torque and strong overload capacity.
Compared with the KPJ and KPD series of flat cars, it has greater safety performance and mobility flexibility, can travel on curves and turnouts, has unlimited running distance, and has no insulation requirements for the track, so it is convenient for construction and low in cost.
