TA1 titanium alloy is a proprietary grade of Wugang Technology. Titanium alloy has three matrix structures: industrial pure titanium is divided into three grades of TA1, TA2 and TA3 according to the content of impurities. The interstitial impurity elements of these three industrial pure titanium It is gradually increasing, so its mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step, but the plasticity and toughness decrease accordingly. The industrial pure titanium commonly used in industry is TA2, because of its moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties. TA3 can be used when higher strength requirements are required. TA1 can be used when better formability is required. TA1, TA2 and TA3 in the national standard correspond to Gr0, Gr1 and Gr2 in this UNS. When the content ω is 0.08%, the hydrogen content ω is 0.0009%, and the nitrogen content ω is 0.0062%, it has good low-temperature toughness and high low-temperature strength, and can be used as a low-temperature structural material below -253°C.

 

Titanium alloys can still maintain their mechanical properties at low and ultra-low temperatures. Titanium alloys with good low-temperature performance and extremely low interstitial elements, such as TA7, can maintain certain plasticity at -235 degrees Celsius. Therefore, titanium alloys are an important low-temperature structural material.

 

Flow behavior analysis and flow instability prediction of TA10 titanium alloy during isothermal compression. TA10 titanium alloy is prepared by electron beam cooling bed, and the TA10 titanium alloy ingot has a layered structure. Steel ingots were subjected to isothermal compression at 800–1050 °C by a Gleeble-1500 thermomechanical simulator with a strain rate range of 0.01–1 s-1 and a height reduction of 60%. Analysis of the flow stress-strain curves revealed that discontinuous yield behavior occurs when the deformation temperature exceeds the β-transus temperature, and rheological softening occurs at all deformation temperatures except 900 °C. The microstructure of the samples is investigated and the evolution of the microstructure is summarized. When the deformation temperature is 950 ℃ and the strain rate is 1 s -1 , adiabatic shear bands appear in the microstructure, and the element distribution in the adiabatic shear bands is analyzed. Based on the dynamic material model, the processing map under the Prasad and Murty instability criterion is established. The applicability of Prasad's instability criterion to flake TA10 titanium alloy is clarified by combining the microstructure and instability conditions. Suitable processing parameters are 1020–1050 °C and 0.1–1 s -1 or 875–950 °C and 0.01–0.05 s -1
