Anti Ripper Insulation Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric 1000mm Wide 80/80g
1. Description:
It is made of glass fiber basic fabric and coated with special compound grey silicone rubber on 1 or 2 sides. They have excellent electrical insulation, thermal insulation, and chemical resistance.
The silicone coating is durable and wear-resistant and can withstand high-temperature heat. It extends the service life while providing better oil and water resistance and electrical insulation than uncoated fabrics.
Silicone Coating on FIberglass can be done in two ways:
Knife Coating: Used For liquid silicone generally for lower coating weight where the Silicone encapsulates the fiberglass fabric giving more softer fabric of lower thickness. [About 40-180g Silicone for each side]
Calendaring: Dry Silicone is laminated onto fiberglass fabric giving high coating weight pick-up and a fabric that is stronger and thicker up to 5 mm thickness [About 500-1500g Silicone for each side]

4. Silicone Coating Cloth Features
1. Weather resistance: It is resistant to ozone, oxygen, sunlight, and aging, with a service life of up to 10 years.
2. Good electrical insulator, dielectric constant 3~3.2, the breakdown voltage between 20~50KV/mm.
3. High-temperature resistance, can work continuously from -70℃ to 280℃.
