EVA is a cheap material for cushion. Light weight and good elasticity. Double-sided tape makes it easy to stick to where it is. It can be used to reduce compaction and noise, against vibration. Fire-retardant one can be chosen in special cases, with ROHS and REACH report. EVA can also be processed as insert case, packaging product.
It is a copolymer and is processed as a thermoplastics material-just like low density polyethylene. It has someof the properties of a low densty polyethylene but increase gloss(useful for film), softness and flexibility. The material is generally considered non-toxic.
