Absorption section of the system: The reaction vessel (usually made of polytetrafluoroethylene, glass or quartz, which do not absorb microwaves and thus avoid self-heating) is placed inside the resonator. The intense friction and collisions between molecules will convert "microwave energy" into "thermal energy", causing the temperature of the reaction system to increase rapidly within a short period of time (for example, from room temperature to 100-200°C within 1-5 minutes, the specific heating rate depends on the polarity of the system and the microwave power).
