About 2711P-RDK10C
The Allen Bradley 2711P-RDK10C is a replacement component for field installation in a PanelView Plus graphics terminal. It is an HMI (Human Machine Interface) that lets the user monitor applications. It comes with a 10.4-inch flat-panel color display that has a minimum resolution of 640 x 480 and 18-bit graphics. The terminal supports operator input via 32 function keys.
The 2711P-RDK10C runs the Windows CE 4.1 OS and ships with FactoryTalk View Machine Edition software. It can be configured as an open system for desktop access and it can communicate with other machines through the Ethernet port and the RS-232 or USB port. The 2711P-RDK10C terminal has upgrades that other PanelView Plus terminals lack, including increased processor speed, system memory, and illumination. It can also connect to external devices like keyboards, printers, ActiveX controls, and remote connectivity.
The 2711P-RDK10C terminal provides standard Windows features like command processor and Explorer shell. It has a built-in PDF viewer for reading content documents and has a mechanism for creating backups. The 2711P-RDK10C uses vector-based graphics and provide data management through CSV files.
