Molecular Sieve 5A is an alkali metal aluminosilicate, it is the potassium form of the type A crystsl structure.Molecular Sieve 5A has an effective pore opening of 5angstroms (0.5nm). it will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 5angstroms and exclude those larger than 0.5nm. It is especially suitable for PSA adsorber applications where it may be used for the separation of normal-and iso-paraffins (C4 to C6 Species), in PSA hydrogen purification and in oxygen concentrators.

Scope of application

- natural and oil gas purification from Sulphurous compounds, Carbon Dioxide and Mercaptans;
- purification of brazing atmospheres and generation of protective atmosphere in metallurgy;
- extraction and purification of normal Paraffins which are feed for manufacturing detergents and Protein-Vitamin components;

Try to avoid contact with oil and liquid water when in use. The gases to be dried in industrial production include air, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, etc. Two adsorption dryers are used in parallel, one works, and the other can be regenerated. Alternate work and regeneration to ensure continuous operation of the equipment. The dryer works at 8-12°C, and regenerates when heated to 350°C.
