Description

Drum bitumen is widely used since it is easy for transportation and storage. CYLT Drum Bitumen Melter is designed for fast melting and decanting the bitumen from the barrel to your application equipment continuously and smoothly.

Drummed bitumen melter (with self heating) components

Bitumen melter(drum packing or bag packing) is mainly composed of melting tank, electric gate, asphalt (drum or bag) loading trolley, trolley drive system, thermal oil heating system, exhaust heating system, asphalt pump and pipeline system, electrical control system, etc.

Bitumen melter operation process

The trolley will be with uniformly distributed barrel holes, which facilitates accurate position of each barrel when loading the barrel(it could be taken apart when loading bag asphalt). The trolley and the transmission system are responsible for pushing the heavy drums in and pulling the empty drums out after melting.

With self double heating systems, easy to be transferred, heating speed fast.

Bitumen melter features

1. Used diesel oil burner as heating device, integrated structure with inner thermal oil coils and exhaust flue, save space and transportation cost and highly improve the heating efficiency.

2. The bitumen barrels will be put onto the trolley, which will push into the bitumen melter for melting and heating.

3. Exhaust from diesel oil burning is used again, high energy utilization, which save the energy and protect the environment. Also the hot exhaust's temperature is higher than the heat transfer oil and the heating speed is much faster. The heated bitumen outflow from the barrel fast and there is no residue.

4. The bitumen from the barrel directly drops into melter container, and will be heated continuously.

5. Nice dehydration property, high duty bitumen pump draws the bitumen from one end to the other end, the steam spill in the process, and the bitumen is ready for use in the asphalt distributor or asphalt mixing plant.

6. Automatic impurity removal function, the bitumen pipeline is equipped with filter to remove the impurity in the bitumen.

7. Bitumen melter reservoir equipped with liquid audible and visual alarm, which helps avoid overflowing.

8. Integrated structure, nice appearance and stable performance, small floor space required, easy for transport and installation, suitable for any working conditions.
