Excavator Final Device
The swing motor is typically loCATEEEEed at the center of the excavator's undercarriage, and it is powered by the hydraulic system of the machine. It receives hydraulic fluid from the excavator's main hydraulic pump and converts the hydraulic energy into mechanical energy to drive the swing mechanism.
The swing motor consists of a hydraulic motor and a gearbox assembly. The hydraulic motor converts the hydraulic pressure and flow into rotational force, while the gearbox transfers and amplifies the torque to rotate the upper structure of the excavator. The motor and gearbox are usually housed in a sealed unit to protect them from dust, dirt, and water.
