Advantages of polyurethane material:
Polyurethane elastomer is a new type of polymer synthetic material that lies between rubber and plastic. It has both the high strength of plastic and the high elasticity of rubber.
1. Wide hardness range. It still has the elongation and resilience of rubber under high hardness.
2. High strength. Their tensile strength and load-bearing capacity under rubber hardness are much higher than those of general rubber. At high hardness, its impact strength and bending strength are much higher than those of plastics.
3. Wear resistant. Its wear resistance is very outstanding, generally ranging from 0.01 to 0.10 (cm ³)/ Within a range of 1.61km, it is approximately 3-5 times that of rubber.
4. Oil resistant. Polyurethane elastomer is a highly polar polymer compound with low affinity with non-polar mineral oil, and is almost non corrosive in fuel oil and mechanical oil.
5. Good resistance to oxygen and ozone.
6. Excellent vibration absorption performance, can be used for vibration reduction and buffering. In the mold manufacturing industry, it replaces rubber and springs.
7. Has good low-temperature performance.
8. Radiation resistance. Polyurethane has good resistance to high-energy radiation, and still has satisfactory performance under 10-10 Ge Radiation exposure.
9. Has good mechanical processing performance. (Suitable for turning, milling, grinding, and drilling)
