Column mounted jib crane is a kind of crane that fixed on the ground. Its operation area is circular due to its has a rotatable cantilever. Combined with hoist unit like electric hoist, chain hoist, chain block, it can realize transportation of cargos in its coverage.
Jib crane is lifting equipment to do light weight transport in plants, port, wharf and etc. sometimes it can be used in manufacturing line and assembling line to do jobs need to be fixed position accurately.
You can purchase two types of cantilever jibs. If you want to carry heavy loads under 20 tons, you can choose heavy duty cantilever jib crane. And you can choose cantilever jib crane if you need to transport loads under 5 tons. Both of them are quiet applicable for short distance and busy work.
Crane install
1 . Column installation:
Lift the column vertically. Set all bolts in foundation right through bolt holes on bottom flange of the column. Then adjust column verticality and tighten all nuts.
2. Arm/jib/cantileverinstallation:
Before installation, lifting hoist should be installed on the arm/jib/cantilever and fixed.
Aligning shaft of column to turntable hole at end of jib/arm, then assemble arm and column together slowly.
After parts are in place, tighten the fixing bolts. Then install the power supply ring.
Test beam rotation with a rope and rotating should be flexible without jamming and abnormal phenomenon.
3. Drive unitinstallation:
Make cycloid reducer match with ring gear on column. Make sure that drive gear meshes with large ring gear, then fixed the reducer to flange by bolts.
