The single girder semi gantry crane is a general purpose light crane used in workshop or outdoors. Semi Gantry Crane can be divided into Three types, single girder semi gantry crane, double girder truss type semi gantry crane, and double girder box-type semi gantry crane. This kind of crane is composed of gantry frame, main girder, legs (two sets), slide sill, lifting mechanism, travelling mechanism, and electric box. The leg height of this single girder semi-gantry crane can be different according to the engineering needs on the construction field.

Semi single girder gantry crane main parts

Electric Hoist :

Model CD1,MD1 wire rope electric hoist is a small-sized lifting equipment, which can be mounted on single beam, bridge, gantry and arm cranes. With slight modification, It can also be used as a winch. It is widely used in factories,mines,harbours,warehouse.

Main Beam :

Main beam will have sandblast derusting and painted with zinc rich epoxy primer.

Main beam is cut by plasma numerical control cutting machine.

The butt weld of tension flange shall undergo ultrasonic or x-ray flaw detection as specified.

Outrigger :

Consist of rigid outrigger and flexible outrigger, all connection points are connected by high -tension bolt.

The ladder is used by operator to enter into cab or arriving at winch.

When the span is beyond 30m, there needs a flexible leg to reduce the lateralthrust of the trolley to the rail when the girder lifts materials.

Ground End Beam :

End beam will have sandblast derusting and painted with zinc rich epoxy primer.

The wheels of end beam are produced in special vacuum casting workshop which make wheels more elastic and outer surface hard-wearing and durable.
