This Gr1 and Gr2 titanium wire is produced to ASTM B348, ASTM B863 and AWS A5.16 and is supplied as straight lengths, on spools or in coils. Diameters from 0.5 mm to 3 mm are available with pickled, polished or bright finish options, and the metal grey wire combines corrosion resistance, high strength and low weight for welding, structural and medical applications.

Titanium wire is used as filler metal for welding titanium equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels and process piping, as structural wire for fasteners and formed parts, and as medical wire where biocompatibility matters. Its corrosion resistance, high strength and low weight suit chemical, marine and medical service. For general-purpose titanium welding the wire is available in unalloyed ERTi-1 and ERTi-2 grades, which match Grade 1 and Grade 2 base metals, while ERTi-5 covers Ti-6Al-4V work.
