Forged Gr2 Titanium WN RF Flange ANSI B16.5
Forged Gr2 Titanium WN RF Flange ANSI B16.5
This welding neck flange is forged from Grade 2 titanium, CNC machined and finished with a raised face to ANSI B16.5. The long tapered neck is butt welded to the pipe so the joint carries the load smoothly and holds pressure well, which is why a WN flange is often selected for high pressure and high temperature lines. Titanium keeps the joint light and strongly resistant to chlorides, sea water and many acids, and the forged structure gives a dense, uniform grain that machines cleanly and holds its face flat.

Applications and Quality Assurance
Welding neck flanges of this type are used on pumps and valves, pipelines, pressure vessels, chemical and petrochemical plant, aerospace ground equipment and off shore and marine systems that need a light flange which resists chlorides and sea water. Other types in the same range include SO, BL, SW, PL and lap joint flanges. Quality control covers mechanical testing (tensile strength and hardness), chemical analysis by spectro and PMI, dimensional checks from material procurement to final delivery, and full certification documentation, with ultrasonic testing and a material test report to EN 10204 3.1 on request.
