Titanium Ball Valve Features
Floating Ball Design
The ball is floating and under medium pressure can produce displacement to press tightly against the sealing surface, ensuring reliable outlet end sealing. Utilizes titanium's excellent stability and self-passivation capability in corrosive environments.
Low Flow Resistance
Ball valves have relatively low fluid resistance among all valve types, even for reduced bore ball valves.
Excellent Sealing Performance
American Standard titanium ball valves feature excellent sealing performance. The valve seat (sealing ring) is typically made of elastic materials like PTFE, ensuring easy sealing with increasing sealing force as medium pressure rises.
Reliable Stem Sealing
The stem rotates only 90° during operation, preventing damage to packing seals. The reverse seal of the stem increases sealing force with medium pressure.
Titanium Ball Valve Applications
Chemical Industry
Excellent corrosion resistance makes titanium ball valves ideal for handling corrosive media including acid and alkali solutions and oxides in chemical production processes.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry
Crucial role in extraction, transportation, and processing operations for controlling fluid flow and pressure, ensuring safe and stable system operation.
Marine Engineering
Excellent seawater corrosion resistance makes them widely used in marine engineering applications including subsea pipelines and offshore platform fluid control systems.
Aerospace Field
Extensively used in aerospace hydraulic and fuel systems due to lightweight and high-strength characteristics that meet aircraft requirements.
Food and Pharmaceutical Industries
Non-toxic titanium materials prevent contamination, making these valves suitable for fluid control systems in food processing and pharmaceutical applications.
