Operating Principle
Titanium ball valves control fluid flow through rotational movement of a sphere within the valve body, consisting of valve body, sphere, stem, and sealing components.
Open Position
When fully open, the sphere aligns parallel to the pipeline flow direction, allowing unrestricted fluid passage.
Closed Position
When fully closed, the sphere rotates perpendicular to the pipeline, effectively blocking fluid passage.
Intermediate Positions
Partial rotation of the stem allows the sphere to partially obstruct flow area, enabling precise flow regulation.
Sealing performance relies on tight contact between the sphere and valve seat, typically using elastic sealing components like O-rings or PTFE seals to ensure reliable leak prevention.
