A dish head (also called a dish end, hemispherical head or elliptical dish end) closes the end of a cylindrical container and separates the internal medium from the outside. It is a structural part of storage tanks, heat exchangers, reactors, boilers and separation equipment, and it maintains the integrity of the vessel under internal pressure and external forces. This Gr12 titanium head is produced to ASTM B337.
