Medical Titanium Disc Gr2 Gr5 for Dental Implant
This medical titanium disc is made from Gr2, Gr4, Gr5 or Gr23 alloy and finished with a polished, silver surface for dental use. Titanium is biocompatible, so it does not react with bone or soft tissue, and it resists the moist, slightly acidic conditions found in the mouth. The disc is cold rolled and stamped to a round shape and can be cut and shaped into dental implants, prosthetics and orthodontic components. Each disc is checked by ultrasonic and dye penetrant testing and can be supplied with a material certificate to ASTM F136 and EN ISO 5832-3.

Applications
The disc is cut and shaped into dental and medical parts. Typical uses include dental implants, abutments and prosthetics, orthodontic components, bone plates and surgical instruments, and laboratory work that needs a strong, light and non-reactive material. Gr5 gives higher strength for load bearing parts, while Gr2 is chosen where high formability and better corrosion resistance are wanted. Discs are packed in seaworthy cases and can be supplied to the customer's drawing and material grade.
