Welded Titanium Tube for Heat Sink ASTM B338
Welded Titanium Tube for Heat Sink ASTM B338
This welding titanium tube is made for heat sink and heat transfer duty, and is supplied as either titanium welded pipe or titanium seamless pipe in round shape. Grades Gr1, Gr2, Gr5, Gr7, Gr9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) and Gr12 are available to ASTM B338, B337, B861 and B862 with a density of 4.51 g/cm3. The tube carries a smooth inner surface and a good heat exchange efficiency, and resists corrosion from sea water, brine and a wide range of chemicals, so it is widely used in heat exchangers, condensers and other industrial pipe systems.

Material Notes
Titanium is a gray metallic element with atomic number 22, a melting point of about 1668 C and a density of 4.506-4.516 g/cm3, which is higher than aluminium but lower than iron, copper and nickel. Its specific strength is the highest among common metals, about three times that of stainless steel and 1.3 times that of aluminium alloy, and the annealed tube keeps good ductility together with corrosion resistance in sea water and many chemical media. Tubes can be produced to the drawing or standard on request.
