Titanium Venturi Mixing Nozzle for Tank Cleaning

This venturi mixing nozzle is an aeration and mixing unit used in the pretreatment of waste water and in biological waste water treatment. It aerates and mixes the liquid in aerated grit chambers, pre aeration tanks, aeration tanks and air flotation tanks, and it also adds oxygen to aquaculture ponds and keeps landscape water in good condition. The unit is built around a submersible pump, an ejector, a diffuser, a suction tube and a flexible pipe, and in electrophoresis lines it mixes and cleans the process tank so the paint bath stays even.

Working Principle

A venturi works because of the pressure difference inside the tube. When a gas or liquid flows through the venturi, the dynamic pressure reaches its maximum and the static pressure reaches its minimum at the narrowest section, and the flow speed rises as the cross sectional area decreases. Because the whole flow narrows at the same time, the pressure falls at the same time. That pressure difference is used to draw in and mix the surrounding liquid or gas, which is why the venturi ejector is also the main part of tail gas purification systems in chemical plants: it collects harmful gases under negative pressure, washes them, and returns only the gas that meets the emission standard to the atmosphere.
