LHTi produces this Gr2 titanium welding wire spool to AWS A5.16 as ERTi-2, and Gr1 ERTi-1 is also available. The wire comes with a diameter of 0.5mm to 3mm and is supplied as spool, coil or straight length up to 3000mm, in the M annealed soft state, R soft processing state or Y hard processing state. It is used to weld corrosion resistant titanium parts and offers corrosion resistance, high strength and light weight in the finished joint.

Why Choose This Wire

Grade 2 is the most common commercially pure titanium grade and the workhorse of the industrial corrosion market, so ERTi-2 filler matches most process equipment. It is used to weld pressure vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, shafts, blowers, condenser tubing, valves, fittings and pipe, giving joints that resist corrosion while staying strong and light. Grade 1 ERTi-1 suits work where maximum ductility is needed.

The wire is used to join titanium process equipment and pipework in chemical plants, and for aerospace structural components where a strong, light weld is required.
