ASTM B381 Titanium Forging Ring Gr2 Gr5 Gr7

This titanium forging ring is a forged, CNC machined ring to ASME SB381 / ASTM B381, supplied in Gr1, Gr2, Gr5, Gr7, Gr9 and Gr12. Forging gives a dense, uniform grain structure and sound internal quality, and the CNC machining brings the outside diameter, inside diameter, height and faces to the ordered size. Titanium is light, strong and highly corrosion resistant, so the ring is used in aggressive service where steel would corrode or add too much weight. The ring is mainly used in the chemical industry, and also in oil refining and chemical engineering, electrolysis, electroplating, medical and aviation parts.

Applications

The ring is used where a strong, light and corrosion resistant round part is needed. Typical uses include chemical processing and oil refining equipment, electrolysis and electroplating plant, pumps, valves and flanges, medical devices and aviation components. Because the ring is forged and then CNC machined, it can be supplied close to the finished size, which saves machining time on the customer side. Outside diameter, inside diameter, height, grade and surface finish can be produced to the customer drawing, and each batch is checked before delivery.
