The Gabion mesh sheet normally welded by Hot Dipped Galvanized Wire. For more corrosion resistance, after the mesh is welded, it is dipped in a bath of hot zinc, giving it excellent Galvanized After Weld (GAW) protection against rust and corrosion. For extremely harsh and more demanding environmental conditions, gabion mesh is also available with a thick and durable coating of PVC. This double protection assures a longer lifetime.
