Product Description
Chicken netting is also known as hexagonal wire netting or poultry wire netting. The wire netting is commonly used for chicken and animal fences and pens, but is also used by the keen gardener for crop protection, anti-bird control vegetable and fruit cages, mesh tree guards and for plant support. Our chicken wire range is large and we supply rolls from 0.5m up to 2m wide in various roll lengths.
Chicken wire is strong as it is manufactured from strong steel wire that is weaved and twisted to form the distinctive hexagonal mesh holes. The wire is galvanised (GI) and then weaved. The galvanisation of the steel wire ensures that the chicken wire fence is corrosion resistant and therefore will not rust.
