440C steel is a martensitic stainless steel.Carbon content 1.0%, chromium content 16-18%.
Strong rust resistance, is high - quality stainless steel.
Heat treatment process
1) annealing at 800 ~ 920℃;
2) quenching, oil cooling at 1010 ~ 1070℃;
3) temper,100 ~ 180℃ fast cooling
4. Preheating temperature, 649°C-816°C
