This actuator is certified for use in over 90% of explosive gas atmospheres (excluding mining applications). Its motor and electronic components undergo special fire-resistant treatment. The mating surfaces are machined to strict tolerances and rigorously inspected at the supplier level to ensure flameproof gaps are sufficiently narrow to contain any internal sparks. The housing is pressure-cast using high-tonnage dies—resulting in denser, stronger aluminum construction capable withstanding significant explosive overpressure.

All enclosure interface surfaces are designed in compliance with ATEX and UL standards, and are precision-machined and verified before assembly to guarantee explosion-proof integrity. The actuator offers easy installation via ISO5211 multi-flange mounting and a double-square drive system, ensuring broad compatibility and straightforward integration.
