The DCL smart modulating type electric actuator is equipped with an Electric Positioning System (EPS) positioner. The output angle of the drive is proportional to the input control signal of 4–20 mA, 2–10 V, or 1–5 V. The actuator’s intelligent controller continuously monitors the motor current. When the motor stalls, the current rises sharply, and the controller automatically cuts off the motor power three seconds after detecting the surge. This electronic over-torque protection provides more precise and reliable protection than conventional mechanical systems.

Each actuator is rigorously tested and certified by CSA in accordance with UL and CSA standards. The duty cycle exceeds 70% across all series, ensuring long-term durability and performance stability. The EPS system is self-calibrating, effectively eliminating “hunting" and providing a standard output position feedback signal for accurate control and monitoring.
