The enclosures of DCL explosion-proof electric actuators are manufactured using higher-tonnage die-casting machines compared with standard actuator series, ensuring a denser structure with no micro-pores. The housing walls are intentionally made thicker to withstand any internal gas explosion pressure. The quality of the cylinder-stop mating surface is critical for ensuring flameproof integrity—scratches, dimensional errors, insufficient stop length, rust, or cracks are strictly prohibited. Therefore, every enclosure undergoes 100% inspection by DCL upon arrival from suppliers.

The actuators have been officially tested by CSA and comply with ATEX, UL, and CSA standards, enabling their use in multiple global markets, including Europe, North America, and other regions requiring certified explosion-proof equipment.
