The DCL-Ex05 explosion-proof electric actuator features an adjustable turning angle of up to 340 degrees and is widely deployed in hazardous environments containing explosive gases such as ethylene and ethanol. To guarantee its explosion-proof rating, the cylinder-stop connection surface of each housing cover is engineered to meet stringent UL standards for flame-proof gaps and lengths; because this machining quality is so critical, DCL enforces internal tolerance ranges that are even tighter than UL requirements and rigorously tests every supplied body and cover prior to assembly. Furthermore, the unit is powered by a proprietary, fully enclosed, non-ventilated motor that delivers high starting torque. Despite the actuator's highly compact footprint, exceptional thermal management restricts the motor's internal temperature rise during heavy-duty operations, ensuring the outer shell safely remains below 135°C (275°F) to prevent external ignition.
