DCL compact electric actuators are widely used in HVAC systems, especially for controlling butterfly valves. In modern building automation applications, electric actuators play an essential role in regulating indoor temperature, air conditioning airflow, water circulation, condensate drainage, and hydraulic balancing systems.

In certain installation environments, opening the actuator cover for wiring, commissioning, or maintenance is unavoidable. For applications with high humidity and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, a thermostatically controlled heater provides effective protection against internal condensation.

To further enhance reliability, DCL actuators feature a patented one-way breathing device that prevents repeated condensation after the heater is switched off. The device allows moisture molecules to escape from the actuator housing while blocking external moisture from entering. This innovative design effectively eliminates condensation-related damage and ensures long-term, stable operation even in harsh environments.
