Description
DCL on-off type electric actuators are S2 short-time duty operation, the duty rate is 80% commonly. Which means, if we regard a standard time as actuator runs from full open to full close, actuator only need stop for only 1/4 of a standard time, then actuator can run from full close to open and repeat above.
If no stop for actuator, it can continuously operate for 15mins then need nearly 4 mins to cool down before operating again. For many severe applications which need to frequently adjust pressure or liquid level, duty rate directly impacts the accuracy of control. High duty rate means more frequently and timely control is possible, especially for 3 point floating control system for refrigeration and heating industries.
