Descriptions

DCL actuators use self-designed motors that is non-ventilated and full enclosed with high start torque. VC motors are squirrel-cage asynchronous induction motor. DC motors are permanent magnet brush motor. All motors from suppliers must be type tested by DCL to confirm every specification, such as the power, voltage-current curve, speed-torque curve and especially the temperature rise during heavy duty applications. Due to the very compact size of actuator, the temperature rise of motor must be low, to make sure the outer shell’s temperature will not go beyond 135℃ or 300.6F.
